Rates and charges may change over time so a competitive account now may not be competitive in the future.
Before closing an account check that you do not lose any entitlement to windfall payments.
Before deciding to switch provider - consider any other relationships you have with your existing Current Account provider, flexibility and access to your funds and the quality of service. Also consider any future relationships which could be placed at risk by switching e.g. applying for a mortgage.
Before switching consider whether the new Current Account provider will grant an overdraft at the same level or higher - if this is applicable to you.
